Are you installing a new head set on your Zip and are you missing the right screws, or are the old heads already half worn? With this screw set you can neatly secure the sheet metal of your Zip again. The set is universal for all Zip models and specifically intended for mounting hood parts.
What is this set intended for?
This screw set is exclusively intended for the attachment of hoods and sheet metal. Think of the front cover, handlebar cover, side covers, rear cover and mudguard. The set is not intended for crash bars or other accessories. Crash bars are mounted under the hood set and do not require a separate screw set.
When do you need this set?
Most people order it when installing a new bodywork set, after damage repair or after maintenance where some screws are always lost. Also useful if your old screws are rusted, heads are damaged or hood parts rattle because not all mounting points are filled.
Assembly
First place the hood parts loosely in place so that the screw holes align properly. First tighten a few screws per part by hand and then finish all around. Do not tighten too much, plastic tears easily if too much force is applied to the mounting points. After your first ride, check whether everything is still properly secured.
