The Malossi ECU – product number 55 18913B – is intended for Piaggio and Vespa scooters with a 50cc 4 Stroke 3V iGET Euro 5 engine. This ECU optimizes the injection and ignition program for better performance and smoother throttle response. The system is limited to a maximum of 10,000 revolutions per minute, which ensures a powerful yet controlled driving experience. This part is ideal as an upgrade to the original ECU or in case of malfunctions in the standard system.

Important installation note:

For correct operation, the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) must be reset according to the supplied installation manual. Without this reset the system cannot function correctly.

Useful to know:

If the engine light remains on, you will have the latest model Zip (2023). The SAI pump is no longer in this. The ECU has not yet been updated for this, so he thinks the pump is still there. Results:

Original 4 Stroke 3V 45 kmph delivers a top speed of 55 kmph. When you install the ECU in combination with the Malossi Multivar + Air filter hose, this results in +- 55/65 km/h.

Please note: the above results are test results. In practice we see that vehicles do not always respond exactly the same to the Malossi ECU. Of course, the Malossi ECU always promotes the top speed of the vehicle. Returns after the ECU has been installed are not possible.
